About the Department

The Department of Translation and Interpreting is an academic unit that offers a four-year undergraduate program aimed at training individuals specialized in language, culture, and communication. Our department combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in the field of translation and interpreting, providing our students with the opportunity to become qualified translators and interpreters who meet both national and international demands.

Education Program
Throughout the four-year undergraduate program, our students receive comprehensive training in areas such as literary translation, technical translation, legal translation, interpreting (simultaneous and consecutive), intercultural communication, linguistics, and translation technologies. Our program ensures that students gain proficiency in at least two foreign languages and aims to equip them with mastery of translation processes. Additionally, students are provided with knowledge and experience in translation technologies and tools to keep up with current developments in the industry.
